The Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) has teamed with The News-Press Media Group and Naples Daily News to present Facebook Live University, a live social media training event.  The event will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 10 a.m. to noon at the News-Press, 2442 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, in Fort Myers.  The cost to attend is $20.  Register online at http://bit.ly/2qncFQl, by phone, (239) 745-3700, or by email sbdc@fgcu.edu.

Participants will learn how to engage live with Facebook friends and potential business leads.  Attendees will learn best practices for creating smart and thoughtful Facebook Live videos to build their business.  This hands-on learning event will provide attendees tools and tips on how to convert Facebook Live to build their brand and convert followers to customers.

The FSBDC at FGCU offers one-on-one, confidential, no-cost consulting and low-cost workshops for businesses throughout Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. The state designates the Florida SBDC Network as Florida’s principal provider of business assistance. The FSBDC at FGCU is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service funded in part through cooperative agreements with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Defense Logistics Agency, State of Florida, and other private and public partners; and is hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University and nationally accredited by the Association of SBDCs.
