FORT MYERS, Fla.– The Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) will host “Evolutionary Women Entrepreneurs: Women’s Knowledge Circle” at the FGCU Sugden Welcome Center on Tuesday, May 16, from 9 – 11 a.m. Cost is $10. Topic discussions on the forum will focus on employment law, professional speaking, internet marketing, social media, and philanthropy.

Attendees will learn how to overcome challenges for female entrepreneurs regardless if they are in the beginning stage and later stage of their business. The forum panelists include Heather Christie, Nicole S. Cooper, Batya Maman, Christina Schwinn, and Brenda Tate.

The FSBDC at FGCU offers one-on-one, confidential, no-cost consulting and low-cost workshops for businesses throughout Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades counties. It is designated by the state as Florida’s principal provider of business assistance. The Florida SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
