The first Estero chamber music concert will be held at the Episcopal Church of St. John’s, 500 Park Shore Drive in Naples at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017.

This change is due to the fact that the Art Hall at the Koreshan State Historic Site will remain closed in November and possibly December in order to enable the repairs to the roof of the building which sustained considerable damage caused by Hurricane Irma.

The church offers great acoustics for the accomplished musicians, some of whom are traveling from Europe especially for this performance.

This first concert of the season will highlight Brahms Piano Trio No. 3 and Schumann’s Piano Quartet, with Victor Derevianko on piano.  Derevianko is a distinguished Professor Emeritus of the Israel Academy of Music. Other performers are Diana Cahanescu on cello and Sania D. Whitaker on violin.

These concerts have been sold out in the past so reservations are recommended. Reservations may be made by calling (239) 596-8404 or emailing
